Booking Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions detailed below apply to online bookings at www.montaguehotel.co.uk and via hotel reservation office.

When you make a booking, your contract (which includes these terms and conditions) will be with Best Western Montague Hotel. All rates are subject to availability, all bookings are taken at the discretion of Best Western Montague Hotel. The opening times for hotel reservations (01202 551074) are Monday – Sunday 7.30am – 10.30pm (inc. Bank Holidays). Calls may be recorded for training purposes

PAYMENT
You will be asked to guarantee your booking with a debit or credit card including your 3 digit security code.
A full non refundable, non transferable payment is required for promotional and advance purchase rates at the time of booking.
If pre-payment is not required then payment is due on arrival or departure from the hotel. On arrival at the hotel, all reservations will require a pre-authorisation with a credit card or cash deposit to cover incidentals during your stay.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL?
Please cancel any bookings made online by calling the hotel reservation office on 01202 551074.
All promotional, and advance purchase rates are non refundable and non transferable in the event of cancellation.
To cancel any other room rate without penalty you must advise us by 2pm the day prior to arrival, after this time you will be charged for the first night’s accommodation. For corporate rates, please refer to individual contracted terms and conditions.

RATES
All rates quoted are per room per night, are subject to availability and include VAT & Services. Rates quoted cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount, offer or promotion.

FAMILY BREAKS
• Up to two Children aged 5 and under stay
• Up to two Children aged 6-15 sharing a room with two adults stay free; you’ll just need to pay for their meals.
• Children aged 6-15 in their own room are each charged 50% of the adult rate.
• Designated family rooms may carry a supplement, please ask at the time of booking.
• Should you require a cot, please ask at the time of booking.

FOOD & BEVERAGE
• A tray charge will apply to all meals taken in your room.
• Breakfast times may vary at the weekends.
• Please contact the hotel with any special dietary requirements.

PARKING THE CAR
Car parking is available on-site and free, subject to availability and not guaranteed at weekends. If you find the car park is full, you will be given directions to the nearest alternative site

CHECKING IN AND OUT
Check in is from 2pm and check out is 11am.

SWIMMING POOL
Our outdoor swimming pool may be used for free during your stay. All children under the age of must be accompanied by an adult and use of the pool is at the guests own risk.

GOLF BREAKS
You can book golf breaks direct with the hotel, which will get a suitable tee time for you. If a course is unavailable for any reason, you will be offered an alternative course. You may need to show your golf handicap certificate.

SMOKING POLICY
The Best Western Montague is smoke free and penalty fees will be applied if you smoke in the hotel.
